Seed Packet –  Contains 50 Phacelia tanacetifolia seeds. | $16.50 Value

Phacelia has been a Mason Bee Magnet for over 12,000 years; it blooms early and long. Phacelia has 20% more sugar-rich nectar, and it’s the only flower I know with purple pollen; Mason bees go crazy for it. Plant in self-watering pots indoors from late January, then place them near your Mason Bee house during the last week of March. When Mason Bees hatch, they have not eaten for six months, for the first week of their lives they will mainline Phacelia nectar and purple pollen. Then, move your potted Phacelia among the crops you want to pollinate, and your Mason Bees will follow. For detailed planting instructions see our shopping page for information Phacelia tanacetifolia seeds.
